Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quote tool requests gender, date of birth, health status in your own words, tobacco consumption, benefit amount, and term length. These six details suffice to fetch quotes from carriers. Personal information—name, street address, contact details—is only gathered if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They are quotes carriers provide for your chosen class and serve as informational data only. The carrier sets the final price after underwriting, which may confirm your class, improve it, or adjust it downward. This site makes no coverage promises or price guarantees.

What happens when I click Apply?

You proceed into a carrier-managed online application that autofills your answers. You remain able to save progress and return later; you sign using electronic signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California broker (License 0B75129), coordinates the application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

This depends on the underwriting rules of the carrier, your coverage request, and your health profile. Carriers offering rapid decisions can approve certain applicants without exams; every quote in our database shows whether a medical exam is mandatory, conditional, or not required for that offer.

Is a longer term better?

Your selection should reflect periods when people who count on you financially would face hardship if you died: unpaid mortgages, kids not yet independent, business obligations. Longer periods cost more per month but lock in your rate for more years. Our tool lets you model 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The tool gathers no personal information; we neither distribute visitor data nor retain it; and we measure visits in a privacy-forward way. Check our privacy page for the complete accounting of what is monitored and by whom.
